Comic Coloring

Conclusion Questions:

1. To begin the project. we needed to create a new file. Then we went to Google to find two characters that were in a comic coloring book format so that we could color it ourselves in photoshop. After selecting our photos, we had to modify both pictures we chose so that they can fit better together. To do this, we had to select the unwanted objects with the magic wand tool and then delete it. After modifying the pictures and getting rid of unnecessary hinderances, we copied the layers twice. We named each of them; "Line art", "Flat color". and "Shading." Each layer has a different purpose. We then went to the Flat color layer and began filling in the empty spaces with color using the magic wand tool to select the area we needed to fill in. I got the colors from a different photo so that I didn't have to try to draw it with my own colors. I selected the color I wanted from the photo I chose with the eyedropper tool, then selected the space I wanted to change with the magic wand tool, then colored it in with the brush tool. The process was repeated until I was happy with the finished product. Then onto shading! I used swatches by selecting the color I wanted with the eyedropper tool and then modifying it to be a lighter or darker color. This would be used for high lighting the character or shadowing the character.

2. I think I got a three. I didn't finish it yet. In order to achieve the 4 that I want, I should finish the shading and add a background. Other than that, I do think that I deserve a 3 at least.
